Its hardness is higher but toughness lower compared with Brown Aluminum Oxide. It is characterized by high purity, excellent self-sharpening, efficient grinding efficiency, and low frictional heat. It can withstand acid and alkali erosion, with high temperature resistance and good thermo stability.

1. 4. Volume density.Refractories with high bulk density and low apparent porosity have high wear resistance.
5. Temperature.Temperature has an influence on the hardness, solubility and reactivity of the material, thus indirectly affecting the wear resistance of firebrick.In general, the solubility and reactivity increase with the increase of temperature.Firebrick is used under high temperature, the wear resistance under high temperature is very important.
6. Atmosphere.Similar to the effect of temperature, atmosphere affects the mutual solubility and reactivity between materials, thus affecting their wear resistance.
